Jason Kelley
Next Carolina Ventures is managed by Jason Kelley. As a family-controlled entity, our investment decisions are made collectively, but Jason handles the day-to-day blocking and tackling. He has been a serial entrepreneur and early-stage tech investor for over a decade. Jason is based in Chapel Hill, NC but also spends considerable time in North Carolina’s High Country where he holds a faculty position teaching entrepreneurship at Appalachian State University.
Before entering the private sector, Jason served in sensitive national security roles in the Middle East and South Asia, as well as various public policy positions in federal government.
